Web The Rock got started in 2014 when I moved to Gibraltar and got so surprised by the amount of local businesses which either had no website or a heavily outdated one. As a result, I took it upon myself to offer affordable websites to local businesses in Gibraltar and thereby webbing The Rock together with the rest of the net.
I have a strong collaboration with a number of highly skilled freelancers many of whom I met whilst studying Web Development at Linneaus Universtity in Kalmar, Sweden. This way, no project is too big or small for us.

This is our main product. WordPress is a Content Management System (CMS), which enables normal users to edit and update websites without any prior knowledge.

I have a bunch of talented designers I work closely with.
Besides WordPress websites I also offer simple static websites in pure HTML and CSS based on bootstrap. The advantage of static websites are that they load faster, they are somewhat easier to develop and therefore cheaper. Static websites are also easier to optimize for search engines.

The logo aims to add depth and weight to the brand. Something that can represent 25 years in the business, and into the future.
By using simple shapes that are all based on the core geometric shapes, I convey a message of creativity and playfulness.

This was a very interesting case as their old website was from 2005 and was highly outdated. Initially, I thought about creating a WordPress site but after reviewing their budget and
acknowledging the fact that their old links had high rankings on search engines, I decided that a static website with Bootstrap 3, jQuery and PHP was the right way to go.
The company have had the same logo for over 23 years but it was never that appealing. They took the opportunity to get a whole new brand identity that included a fresh logo which suited the company.
The support colors are bold, yet clean. With a white and gray foundation, the communication is very readable.
Quando was chosen as a supporting font due to it's playfulness even though it's a serif font. This heritage makes it feel young, yet serious.
The Mediterranean Restaurant Lucullus in Sweden needed help to freshen up their presence online. They already had a Website based on the CMS-system Joomla, which wasn’t responsive and didn’t look very good.
Instead of fixing up their old site, Web The Rock decided to create a fresh, responsive and an easy to manage WordPress-site with a theme called Linguini.
The theme had a lot of issues and could look better out of the box but after some modifications, change of colors, making all functionality work as it should the site turned out great and Web The Rock feel happy about the choice.
Web The Rock, helped with the implementation of their design into their existing theme using PHP, HTML5 and CSS3.
The site was designed and developed within two weeks as Merit Poker wanted the site ready before their big poker-tournament. The site was built with Bootstrap,HTML5,jQuery and CSS3.
